About the Class
This is a guided self-care practice to help release stress and emotional tension from the body. Through intentional breath, gentle body awareness, and calming self-touch (Havening), you’ll reconnect to your center and feel lighter, clearer, and more grounded. We have virtual & in-person attendance options!
The Flow of Our Session
We focus on three powerful steps that work together to calm the nervous system and restore inner peace:
1. Breathwork: Heart-Centered Breathing
Learn how to guide your breath into different parts of your body
Expand your ability to stay present, calm the mind, and soften stress
2. Body Scan: Feel What the Body Is Saying
Learn how to connect to your body & create awareness
Learn a method of speaking to the body to see what it needs
3. Havening Touch: Anchoring Safety & Calm
Choose 2–3 phrases that you want to bring into your body (e.g. “I am safe,” “I am peaceful,” “I am strong”).
Havening Touch Sequence:
Face: Stroke from center forehead to temples
Arms: Stroke shoulders down to fingertips
Hands: Rub palms together or stroke the top of one hand
Chest: Gentle strokes across chest and upper arms
