Self- care tips while social distancing

It’s normal to feel scared and anxious during a pandemic. Recognize when you’re having constant negative thoughts and emotions on a loop, pause and interrupt the pattern of negativity.

Many of us might be confined to our homes, living in a small space and working form there, which leads to reduced levels of physical activity.

However, exercise is proven scientifically to decrease anxiety and depression and have many positive impacts on our moods and psychological functioning so don’t forget to set aside some time during the day to exercise and move.

Self- care tips
while social distancing:

Create structure and routine throughout the day for yourself. Having a routine is helpful in times of uncertainty and unpredictability. It provides a sense of having some control and ability to organize that which is in our control.

Set boundaries in regards to how much new you read about the pandemic on a daily basis. It’s good to be informed, but constantly consuming news about Covid might add to your anxiety and stress.
