Registered Psychotherapist at Lite Mind Body Clinic - Bella Pahlevan

Bella’s passion for learning and serving her community is what drives her to continue her work of helping people better their mental and well-being. After completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, Bella earned her Master’s Degree in Family Therapy Psychology. She became registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists in Ontario (CRPO) and is also an active member of the Ontario Association of Mental Help Professionals.

She started her journey serving patients in Tehran, Iran, helping develop treatment plans for Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.  She continued on to design and facilitate group therapy for those with Borderline Personality Disorder. In particular, her welcoming and warm personality allow her to work with patients who have undergone trauma as she is able to facilitate a safe space where they can heal and grow. She is able to practice and serve her patients in English and Farsi.

Patients from all walks of life come to better their health with Bella. She specializes in supporting her patients in a variety of concerns, including but not limited to social anxiety and self- esteem issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, complex PTSD, borderline personality, grief, relationship issues, loneliness and dissatisfaction, and life transitions. Her pschyology background and understanding nature allows her to provide the support patients need on their wellness journey.

Bella’s hunger for learning never stops, as she continues her studies to earn Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) certificate, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Mental Health and Addictions certificate and her latest work as a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist. She is always on the lookout to strengthen her psychology knowledge and background in order to better serve her community, ensuring that each patients’ individual needs are met.

Combining her knowledge from her Bachelor of Fine Arts and her Master’s in Psychology, she developed and facilitated group Art Therapy for her patients; in particular helping women who are experiencing depression. Once again, her focus was on fostering a positive and safe environment for self-expression - allow her patients to bloom and express their true selves. 


Through her work, she is able to help people better their mental health and well-being. She specializes in a variety of different interventions and modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, and Client-Centered approach. She believes that each person is unique, and thus, so is their journey to healing. Bella takes her time to listen and care for each patient, through a non-judgmental and collaborative environment.
