Dr. Jenny (Yu-Tzu Liu) - Chiropractor

Dr. Jenny (Yu-Tzu) Liu has been a Chiropractor for nearly ten years, providing patients with attentive and thoughtful care catered towards their unique needs. Jenny grew up in Taiwan where Eastern and Western medicine are given equal weight in patient care. At a young age, she understood there was more to healthcare than just pharmaceuticals and was inspired by Chiropractic care when she was first introduced to the modality in university. She was most interested in the way that Chiropractors interacted with their patients: there was a sense of collaboration between the doctor and patient that allowed individuals to relax during adjustments for the most effective care. This was a type of healthcare Jenny had not previously seen and she was immediately drawn towards it.

To maintain her own self-care, Jenny sees a Chiropractor once a week (because Chiropractors need Chiropractic treatment too!) and does regular acupuncture on herself. During her downtime, Jenny likes to go rock climbing with her husband and cuddle with her cats, Milhouse and Oscar. Since 2020, she has studied Traditional Chinese Medicine to improve her acupuncture skills, expand her understanding of the human body, and reconnect to her Taiwanese roots.

Jenny’s approach to treatment focuses on patient’s comfort: while chiropractic adjustments are effective at treating pain, she doesn’t want her patients to focus on this during their sessions. Rather than paying attention to pain, she tries to encourage clients to focus on the function and change that treatment brings to their body’s. Each treatment is tailored to a patient’s tolerance and lifestyle for the best results. Jenny believes strongly in providing clients with the information they need to make informed decisions about their health. As many Chiropractic patients are those suffering from aches and pains due to regular wear and tear on the body, Jenny tries to provide tips and tools for body maintenance at home to ensure long-term success in her patients. Jenny is passionate about patient growth: helping individuals feel better and “do more than before.” This can be as simple as providing treatment that helps a patient walk the dog a few minutes longer because their back doesn’t ache or sleep through the night without their shoulder bothering them.
